Have you ever dreamed of vacationing in Dubai? Or maybe you’d like to experience the natural wonders of New Zealand, or walk along the banks of the Nile. Regardless, did you know that you can visit some of the most exotic places in the world and get paid for it?

Digital nomads are traveling the world and making money while they do it, and this is a lifestyle that you can adopt as well.

What if you having an amazing experience in a rideshare service in Prague? Well, after any great experience, you could write about it and earn money for sharing your thoughts. And this is just one of the many things that digital nomads do.

Becoming a digital nomad isn’t easy, but this lifestyle is possible to achieve if you really desire it. Here, we’ll discuss a few of the jobs that digital nomads are known for, and how you can get started on traveling the same path.

Travel Blogging

Travel blogging has become more popular in recent years as blog sites have become much more user friendly. In today’s world, you no longer have to know how to code or learn CMS in order to create a website or a blog. It’s as simple as writing and publishing in some cases.

Travel bloggers make money by sharing experiences, offering advice, and by linking their blog posts to products and services which earn them money through affiliates.

A travel blogger might write only a few pieces a week, or a month, and still earn money from these posts long after the blog has been published. But, to get started travel blogging, you have to start traveling.

In addition to visiting exotic places, you also need to learn the art of blog writing, and this is entirely different from most writing styles. Once you’re able to carefully craft your blog and articulate cogent summaries, you’ll be well on your way to developing an audience, and making money.

Photography

We live in a world that is inundated by imagery at every turn. With the popularity of social media sites like Instagram, Pinterest and many others, people pay good money for images of all kinds.

This is where your photography skills can become a lucrative project for you to explore.

The world is vast, and as such, there are so many places that people are dying to see. If you’re able to take quality photographs in locations that people want to visit, you’ll be able to sell these images to travel sites, book publishers and magazines.

The best travel photography takes the viewer away from reality and into the scenery. This is the art of angle, perspective and dramatic lighting. When it all comes together, you’ll have formed a composition that begs its viewer to take a closer look, and people pay good money for images of this quality.

Become a Travel Foodie

Many digital nomads are reviewers or critics of restaurants, hotels and resorts. In fact, many of these digital nomads make a good living by dining at interesting restaurants around the world and offering their reviews on them.

If you’re a food lover and enjoy trying cuisine from all over the country, you’ll be able to write reviews and offer travel advice on numerous websites, review sites, and blogs.

In some cities, there are hundreds of restaurants just within a few city blocks. Take advantage of these locations and see what each place has to offer. You’d be surprised at the money you’re able to make all by giving your opinion about a particular restaurant, or about cuisines that people may or may not be familiar with.

The world is a huge place, and if you have a love for travel and for indulging in new experiences, becoming a digital nomad may just be the perfect lifestyle for you. It may take a little planning and financing to get your name out there, but once you do, the sky’s the limit.
