There are hundreds of locations you can go scuba diving throughout the world. Each one has its own special beauty and amazement, but with so many options out there, and realistically all of us only being able to pick out a few to visit. It’s hard to know which locations are really worth visiting. We compiled a list with Diving Picks team of what we believe are the best locations to go scuba diving in the world!

Cape Kri – Indonesia

Cape Kri is known for its amazing coral gardens. You are going to see some of the most beautiful fish you have ever seen in your life. Also, did we mention there was a record-setting 374 different kinds of fish at Cape Kri? Not only that, but you will see manta rays, sharks, barracudas, and giant revallies. Overall, this location is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to go scuba diving.

Galapagos Islands – Ecuador

The Galapagos Islands are famous for the tales told to us by Charles Darwin. Let us just say, the hype is real. If you fancy yourself as a shark fanatic, then this the place for you! You are more than likely to see a whale shark at this location! Imagine how crazy a picture would be of you with a whale shark which, by the way, can be the size of a bus! Whether you’re new to diving, a fan of cold water diving, a veteran of the hobby, or anyone who simply loves marine life, then the Galapagos Islands are for you.

Bermuda

Have you ever wanted to go on a nautical adventure? Well, then do we have the spot for you! Bermuda is the perfect location for anyone trying to scratch that adventure itch because it has shipwrecks! That’s right. There are over 300 identified shipwrecks in the waters of Bermuda that you can explore. The best part about Bermuda is the water is crystal clear for up to 150 feet. That means you can see in every direction you look, which is excellent for new and experienced divers, and you can also actually see what is going on around you. Imagine the feeling of seeing a massive shipwreck crystal clear as you swim around it underwater. Bermuda truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for anyone interested in diving, especially for anyone who is a fan of shipwrecks.

Vancouver Island – British Columbia

Our last recommendation is Vancouver Island. It may be cold, and it may seem daunting, but if there was ever a location worth embracing the cold in, it’s the waters of Vancouver Island. The water may be cold for some, but the experience you get out of this dive will vastly outweigh being a little cold. You are going to some of the best shipwrecks in the world! Not only that, but you will see octopuses and coral reefs filled with crabs and other creatures! Honestly, this is an incredible dive for anyone looking to embrace the cold, see some shipwrecks, and checkout octopuses!

Closing Thoughts

As you can see, the three locations we suggested are absolutely going to give you an incredible experience on your next trip. There are plenty of other locations out there worth visiting, but these three are above all the rest! What are you waiting for? Get out there and start diving!
