Mount St. Helens Volcano in Washington State, USA

The active Mount St Helens rises to 8,366 feet (2,550 meters) and last erupted in July 2008, spewing ash clouds over Washington State in the US.

Mount Vesuvius Volcano in Naples Bay in Italy

Mighty Vesuvius towers over the Italian Gulf of Naples as it rises to 4,203 feet (1,281 meters) tall, and the last eruption was in 1944.
