Where to Go in 2021

  • February 19, 2021
  • Jules

Between COVID19, rioting, and horrible snowstorms you have been in the house for a long time and you are looking forward to being able to travel again. Once the Coronavirus vaccine is distributed, hotels and motels are certain to have specials and you will have many choices when it comes to vacationing. There are a few spots that travel experts are recommending for 2021

Norway

Scandinavia has some of the most untouched natural areas on the planet and it is a great place to visit if you are looking to travel to another country where most of the people will speak English.

You can rent a cottage in a small fishing village or a cabin in the woods. You can choose a spot with outdoor facilities or a place that is rustic on the outside and modern on the inside. You can take hikes and boat trips where you will see some truly beautiful scenery. If hiking isn’t your thing, you can take the funicular railroad up to Mount Fløyen.

Kayaking is very popular in the summer and you won’t have trouble finding a guide. If you are an experienced skier, you may want to try gliding down the slopes in the winter. It is also the perfect place to see the Northern Lights.

Japan

Japan has always been a major tourist attraction for Americans and 2021 will be no exception. Unless COVID19 continues to cancel events, the country should host the 2021 Olympics. The bright lights and nameless streets in Tokyo are always a big draw for travelers.

About 70% of this country is comprised of mountains and you would be remiss not to take a hike up to a peak or two. There are temples on some of these mountains where Buddist allow people to stay and get in touch with their spiritual side for a small fee.

If you prefer to take in your views from a man-made structure. you can visit the Tokyo Skytree towers. It is the tallest tower in the world and you will get a great view of the city and Mount Fuji.

Upstate New York

Manhattan may get all the attention, but the rest of the state has just as much to offer. You can visit Adirondack State Park where you will find kayaking and hiking trails for all different levels of ability on 2.6 million acres.

If you are looking for the perfect souvenir, you can head to Corning to the Museum of Glass. You can watch glass blown here and even make your own trinket. Admission is only $20 here and it is a great place to take the kids.

If you are a history buff, you can head over to Fort Ticonderoga, a site that was employed in The Revolutionary War and several battles in other conflicts. You will get to see a cannon demonstration here and there are historian staff members to answer questions.

Get There in Style

Airlines are hurting these days and you can get some great deals on travel. If you have always wanted to fly first class 2021 might be your chance to get some low prices on airfare. Websites such as businesstravel365.com may be able to help you get discounted luxury fares.
