If you take out Pattaya’s infamous reputation as a notorious party haven out of the tourism equation, Pattaya is one of the most underrated tourist destinations in Thailand. A true tourist wants a good package of natural beauty, activities and attractions, entertainment and sightseeing, shopping and good food. Most people take connecting routes to the farther regions of the country as soon as they land in the capital and let the neighboring beach town of Pattaya pass.

What most people do not know is that Pattaya is home to some of the best in Thailand. Therefore, whether you are honeymooning or planning a family holiday in Thailand with your kids, do not take this power package lightly. If Pattaya is not on your list yet, make sure you accommodate it on your itinerary. You can also take a day trip Pattaya from Bangkok if you are short on time, thanks to its proximity to the capital. If you already have it on your list, then make sure you do not miss out some of the most amazing things it has to offer.

Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park

This is by far the best water park in Thailand, and perhaps in the Far East. Interestingly, it also happens to be the world’s first Cartoon Network-themed water park. This should be on your must-do list if you are traveling with kids. However, even if you are an all adult group, do not let this one pass. If you are a true water park fan, this water park offers unmatched fun and activities for people of all ages.

Crocodile Farm

This is one of the most interesting places to visit in Thailand, especially if you love exotic animals. As the name suggests, it is an interactive reptile farm with crocodiles roaming around and lets you come up, close and personal with these sharp-toothed animals. Besides watching some thrilling live shows, you can also feast on grilled crocs, which happen to be famous among Thai people.

The Sanctuary of Truth

If you are a fan of art and architecture, you should visit this ancient wooden temple which is made using Teak wood and sits at the top of 105 m hill making it the world’s highest wooden temple. This temple is a mesmerizing blend of art and divinity, but even if spirituality is not your interest, you will fall in love with how close it lets you come to the raw, untouched nature.

Elephant Village

A trip to Thailand is incomplete without an Elephant ride. Besides being one of the friendliest animals, these oversized champs also enjoy a sacred status in the country, and therefore this Elephant Village originally started off as a sanctuary for injured and sick Elephants. It was later turned into an Elephant resort where tourists can come and interact with them.

The Lost World Tour

This one is a one-of-its-kind nature walk for true nature lovers. Thailand is a country that goes beyond beaches. Its dense forests, diverse wildlife, beautiful waterfalls, gushing rivers and underground caves are a must-visit for nature lovers. The Lost World Tour is an ultimate experience that lets you live it all in one single.
