Day 01. Arrive at Yangon International Airport. An English speaking guide will meet you outside the Customs. Transfer you to the Hotel. Rest for awhile. Tour begins with visit to one of must see Myanmar cultural heritage, Sule pagoda; magnificently stands high (46 meters) with its gilded gold, glistering in the midst of rising buildings right in the center of Yangon. Proceed to Nearby Bandoola Park and visit independence monument. Then drive to century-old colonial buildings of Victorian era architectural designs where you can take photos. Continue to Great Shwe Dagon where all that glisters is gold. Marvel at gigantic stupa all covered with gold. Walk round main stupa and explore numbers of smaller stupas and shrines all in gold. See numbers of devotees offering flowers, joss sticks or water to Buddha, meditating or telling beads in total serenity and some reciting Buddha's discourse in unison. The last but not the least, discover ancient Myanmar architecture in numerous wood carvings, colorful mosaics, sophisticated plaster works and sculptures on pagoda platform. Sumptuous dinner at famous Chinese restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02. After breakfast fly to Bagan. Transfer to hotel. Tour includes visit to cave temple where best murals of 8th century Bagan exist. Enjoy mural paintings depicting 'birth-histories' of Buddha. Proceed to the biggest golden stupa in Bagan Shwezigon. There you will find famous 11th century Mya Zedi stone inscription. Next visit is Bagan architectural masterpiece Arnanda temple. Built by King Kyansittha it is considered by scholars as temple of superb design which cleverly brings sunlight onto the face of Buddha image that was placed most interior of the temple. Then visit the highest temple in Bagan Thatbyinnyu from top of which you can enjoy the beautiful Bagan landscape. Then proceed to lacquer ware workshop where you explore numerous steps of time consuming toiling works just to get one piece of finished lacquer ware. Then visit local market where you can find many varieties of authentic lacquer ware, puppets, tapestries, and other souvenirs. End day 2 Tour by enjoying sun set from top platform of one of the temples. Dinner with puppet show.
Day 03. After breakfast fly to Mandalay. On the way from airport to city Mandalay, about 1 hr drive, visit man-made all teak U Pein bridge spanning one kilometer across lake Taung Ta Man. Walk on it enjoying surrounding scenic views. Then drive to Silk weaving houses where you can explore traditional way of weaving famous Myanmar silk-wear Cheik. Cheik is expensive and valued by Myanmar as only for ceremonial wear. Next, visit to bronze casting, gold leaf making, and masonry workshops. Take photos. Then, proceed to most revered bronze Buddha image of Mandalay, Mahamuni covered, except face, with 15cm thick pure gold. After lunch, transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit palace wall and moat (a palace of last king of Myanmar). Then visit a place, where world's biggest book made of marble slap is kept, Kuthodaw. Explore 729 marble slaps on which inscribed authentic Buddha's teaching approved of at 5th Buddhist synod held in Mandalay during the rule of king Mingdon. Conclude Mandalay tour by driving on to Mandalay Hill where you can explore many pagodas on the top and enjoy sun set. Sumptuous dinner is waiting after this.
Day 04. After breakfast, fly to Heho; Inle, (about 30 minute flight). From Heho drive to (about 1 hour) Nyaung Shwe. Transfer into private motorboat and sail to the hotel. Tour includes a visit to village where long neck Padaung tribes live, explore tribal life there, marvel at their dexterity in silk weaving. Then a visit to century old wooden sculptures at Nga Phe Kyaung (jumping cat monastery in local jargon). There you will see architectural designs rivaling those of Bagan. Enjoy the beauty of typical wooden monastery on stilts. For your amusement you will be shown cats jumping and leaping through loops. Proceed to Phaung Daw Oo pagoda. 5 Buddha images kept there are believed to answer the prayers. Try yourself. Next highlight is floating islands, on which Inle dwellers build their homes, grow crops and raise poultry. (Floating Islands are clever inventions of Inle dwellers to beat the odds of living on huge lake.) Discover unique Inle transport, Leg rowing boat. Get rare chance of having dinner on one of floating islands. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05. After breakfast fly back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel. Pay a visit to world's biggest man-made cave Maha Passana Guha, world peace pagoda, tooth relics pagoda. Then proceed to 72 meters long reclining image Chauk Htat Gyi after which indulge yourself in shopping spree at famous Bogyoke Market or Scott's Market. You can get genuine, authentic famous Myanmar jewels, handicrafts and other souvenirs there. Dinner at best Chinese restaurant. Overnight stay in hotel.
