Day 01. Saigon Arrival (D) Arrive in Saigon. You will be met by your tour guide at the airport and taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, acclimatize yourself with a walking tour around downtown Saigon - the biggest city in Vietnam. Welcome dinner with Vietnamese dishes in the evening.
Day 02. Saigon (B/ L) Breakfast at the hotel. Full day sightseeing tour of the most famous and important landmarks of Saigon: The Former Presidential Palace, War Remnant Museum, Old Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. Afterwards, visit Cho Lon, Saigon's China Town with the famous Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda. A short walk from Ben Thanh market along bustling streets, passing by Rex Hotel, City Hall and Opera House to close your day in the evening. Today's dinner will be on your own to explore the local cuisine.
Day 03. Saigon - Mekong Delta (B/ L/ D) Breakfast at the hotel. A whole day exploration of the Mekong Delta with the unique lifestyle of inhabitants living along rivers and channels. Travel overland to My Tho and take a boat cruise along rivers and canals through villages. Visit fruit and bonsai gardens, a candy workshop and local homes. Enjoy local delicacies, fruit and traditional folk music. Back to city after tour.
Day 04. Saigon - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L/D) After Brfeakfast, take a morning flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, take a coach to visit Cham Sculpture Museum and Marble Mountains before proceeding to Hoi An. On foot visit the World Heritage Site of Hoi An. A peaceful wandering through the narrow streets with centuries-old architecture, combining the influences of many exotic trading communities such as the Chinese and Japanese. Visit Hoi An Museum, Old Merchant’s Houses, Assembly Hall, Japanese Covered Bridge and the lively boat pier near the market.
Day 05. Hoi An - Hue (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free for some last minute shopping before leaving behind the peaceful and charming Hoi An. Travel overland northwards along highway 1A, passing Hai Van Pass, Lang Co beach to Hue. Stops for bird’s eye-view and photogenic scenery along the way. Arrive in Hue in time for a romantic boat cruise upstream Perfume River. Lunch at the local restaurant. Pay a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, the Buddhist center of the region and spiritual symbol of Hue. Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight in Hue.
Day 06. Hue (B/L) Breakfast at the hotel. Being the capital of Vietnam from the beginning of the 19th Century, Hue is famous for its historical, cultural relics, unique eastern architecture, arts and religion revealed in royal palaces and tombs, temples, music and performances, for which Hue was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Today’s tour includes the Imperial Citadel, Purple Forbidden City, Royal Palaces and Temples. Later on, continue the day with a short drive to King Tu Duc’s Tomb, a replica of the royal court palace, built a long time before the King’s death. The architecture here expresses the King’s disappointment and helplessness towards the French invasion of the country. Today's dinner will be on your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day 07. Hue - Hanoi (B/L/D) After breakfast at the hotel, fly to Hanoi in the morning. You will be met by your tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Take an orientation tour of Hanoi in the afternoon including an introduction to Hanoi’s Central Area, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Opera House. Lunch at the local restaurant. Enjoy a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter of Hanoi known as the 36 guild streets, along narrow and busy roads with hundreds of year’s old houses, shops, and cafés. The highlight of the evening is a Water Puppet Performance, a traditional form of Vietnamese folk art created and performed by farmers of the Red River Delta in their villages festival in the past. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 08. Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc – Hanoi (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your tour around Hanoi today. Land transfer for about two hours to Ninh Binh Province. Visit Hoa Lu - The Ancient Capital and the remaining two temples of Dinh King & Le King. Then drive towards Tam Coc – the Halong bay on land. Explore country life of Vietnam by passing through villages and rice fields. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda - one of the famous pagodas in Ninh Binh Province. After lunch, sit back and relax while a local villager rows a small boat through the rice fields and mountain ranges. Visit three caves and contemplate the beauty of the natural landscapes. Arrive at Hanoi late in the afternoon. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 09. Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your tour in Hanoi this morning. Visit the city's outstanding tourist sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-pillar Pagoda, West Lake, and Temple of Literature. Take an afternoon drive nearly 200 kilometers to Halong Bay, through the countryside of the Red River Delta with peaceful scenery of villages, green rice paddies and farmers working here and there to cultivate their lands with buffalos. Check into hotel upon arrival. Overnight in Halong.
Day 10. Halong Bay - Hanoi - Luang Prabang (B/L) Breakfast at the hotel. Take a four-hour boat trip to visit Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. This picturesque “Dragon Descending To The Sea” Bay has 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Visit a grotto before enjoying your seafood lunch on board. Drive back to Hanoi for a flight to Luang Prabang - a former capital of Laos, which has now has been recognized as a World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 11. Luang Prabang (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. A whole day tour of the World Heritage town of Luang Prabang starts with visiting two Wats: Visounalat, known as the Watermelon Stupa; the ornate Wat Mai; and Wat Xieng Thong, an exquisite 400 year-old royal monastery complex. Lunch at the local restaurant. In the late afternoon, climb up Phousi Hill, with its derelict anti - aircraft gun and revered shrine, for a great view of the sunset over the Mekong and mountains beyond. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 12. Luang Prabang (B/L) Breakfast at the hotel. The day starts early by witnessing long lines of barefoot monks in procession through the streets of Luang Prabang. Then take a Mekong River trip on motorboat to the holy caves Pak Ou, a mystical pilgrimage site above the river. For over five centuries, people of all status as kings, princes, merchants, and peasants have come to this cave to worship and have left behind more than 3,000 Buddha statues. Return to the city in the evening. Today's dinner will be on your own.
Day 13. Luang Prabang - Angkor Wat (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in the morning until departure to the airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, enjoying to explore the ancient Angkor City from the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom to the World Wonder of the Angkor Wat Temples. End your day with a spectacular view of the sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill in the late afternoon. Free time in the evening. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 14. Angkor City (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, explore the Khmer Temples from the early Angkor period. Visit the Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei temples, dating back from the 9th and 10th centuries. Lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue your tour to the graceful Khmer Temple of Shiva, built in the 11th century. Return to town with a stop at the three-tiered temple-hill of Pre Rup. You’ll also get a chance to see the Bantey Kdei with its rarely seen sculpted female deities, the Lake of Srah Srang, and the impressive Ta Prohm Temple, which is dramatically surrounded by the Jungle. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Siemn Reap.
Day 15. Siem Reap - Phnom Penh (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in the morning. Then take a speed-boat to Phnom Penh (about 4 hours), the capital of Cambodia. Check into hotel upon arrival. Lunch at the local restaurant. This afternoon after check in at your hotel, we continue to visit Tuol Sleng prison (Genocide Museum) was the most secret organ of the Khmer Rouge regime. S-21 stands for Security Office 21. was Angkar's premier security institution, specifically designed for the interrogation and extermination of anti Angkar elements. Continue to visit Choeung Ek museum, between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants detained and tortured at S-21 prison were transported to the extermination camp of Choeung Ek. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 16. Phnom Penh (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour in Phnom Penh. Visit the Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Royal Palace and Independent Monument in the morning. Lunch at the local restaurant. Continue your tour in the afternoon to visit the Wat Phnom and Central Market. Then join an hour-long cruise on Chaktomouk River with a window view of floating villages, fishing boats and the beauty of the Mekong Delta. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 17. Phnom Penh - Hometown (B) Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport in the morning and board your flight home or next destination.
