Day 01. Lima - Arrival in Lima. Reception in the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon City tour visiting the Main Square (Plaza Mayor), Santo Domingo Church, Bishops Palace, Government Palace, Alameda de los Descalzos, Chabuca Grande, San Francisco Monastery and many other places of interest. Overnight in Lima.
Day 02. Lima - Cusco In the morning after breakfast flight to Cuzco. Reception and accommodation in the hotel. In the afternoon City Tour visiting the Corikancha Sun’s Temple, the Main Square, the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman Inca Fort , El Qenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 03. Cusco - Machupicchu.- Early breakfast. Whole day excursion to Machupicchu. We start a 3 ˝ hours train trip till the base of the archeological site. From there we board a bus driving to the very top of the place from where we will enjoy a magnificent view of this ancient metropolis, where we will visit: Street to the ruins, Agricultural terraces, The fountain place, Temple of the Sun and Real Temple, The Three Window Temple, Intihuatana solar clock, Sacred and Funerary Rocks, The Cementery, Jails and place of the Morteros. Back to Cusco and overnight
Day 04. Cusco – Inca`s Sacred Valley.- Whole day excursion to the Inca’s Sacred Valley, visiting Pisac, a picturesque colonial town, a handcraft exhibition and a native market. Also Calca, Urubamba, and the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Lunch. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 05. Cusco – Puno. After breakfast we will depart off to Puno, where we arrive after a 7 hours drive. In the way we have interesting visits to: the Chapel of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas considered ad the
Day 06. Puno – Copacabana – Sun Island (Titikaka Lake) - After breakfast transfer to the bus stop and trip by bus to Copacabana (3 hrs.) Lunch. Then in a typical boat follow a visit to the SUN ISLAND. The waters of TITIKAKA LAKE are a beautiful blue, reflecting the hills, mirroring the sky and changing color when it is cloudy. The Sun Island is worshipped as the birthplace of Manco Kápac and Mama Ocllo the first founders of the Inca’s Empire. Some ruins like the Pilkokaina Palace, the Inca’s Fontaine, the 200 stairs of Yumani are part of this beautiful Island, worth to see it. Return to Copacabana and continue to La Paz in a private car. Overnight in La Paz.
Day 07. La Paz – Uyuni - Bus to Oruro (3 ˝ hours trip) and then connection to Uyuni by train. On arrival, somebody will pick you up in the train station and take you to the hotel. Overnight SALT HOTEL (unique in the world)i.
Day 08. Uyuni Salt Lake - Departure to the Uyuni Salt Fields at 10:30 a.m. Visit Colchani where we will observe manual salt production and processing to iodine salt. We then head to the Inca Huasi Island, also called Fish Island by its peculiar form. It has lots of caves and gigantic cactus about 8 to 10 meters spread over a lime like surface. Return to the town of Uyuni and rest in the hotel until it’s time to take the night train. Lunch and dinner.
Day 09. Oruro – La Paz. Arrival in Oruro and connection by bus to La Paz. Reception and accommodation in the hotel. In the afternoon City tour visiting the most interesting places in La Paz, typical places like the Witches Market, artisanal markets, the colonial calle Jaén with its impressive, residential areas of the south and t he well known Moon Valley , where erosion has given place to the most exotic and curious surface forms and figures. Overnight in La Paz
Day 10. Tiwanaku - After breakfast, 6 hours excursion to the archaeological place of Tiwanaku, millenarian pre-inca ruins (1.500 b.c.), located in the middle of the Altiplano, where we will appreciate the admirable litho sculptures, monuments, Suns’ Door, temples, the local museum and also the church in the town, which was built in 1612, most of it with stones and material from the ruins.. Includes typical lunch and entry fees.
Day 11. Coroico. In less than three hours drive and after an amazing trip full of gorgeous sights the Yungas Valley is reached where the most exotic and delicious fruits are grown. Lunch included. Coroico is the most visited town in Yungas; it has numerous attractions such as the Camino del Inca (Inca Road), panoramic sights of the Andes, the African-Bolivian culture (small population of blacks, descendants of African slaves), coca plantations, water falls, etc. The hill overlooking Coroico is called Uchamachi and is said to be the home of Pachamama, the goddess of the earth. Return to La Paz. Overnight.
Day 12. Depart.
