Day 01. Collect guests from the airport – depart for your 6 hour drive to Limpopo Province, stopping for lunch along the way. Under the brilliant African blue sky you find a true gem: The Game Lodge, situated in a private nature reserve in the new peace park, linked to the great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, which will be Africa's biggest wildlife wilderness. Day 02. Today we cycle in the nature reserve for a couple of hours amongst the many giant baobab trees with their enormous girth and dominating presence, surrounded by legend! Then you can treat yourselves to a wonderful massage in the health hydro & spa at the Lodge. In the evening we discover the sheer majesty of a baobab at sunset, while sipping our well-deserved drinks. Distance: 15kms. Degree of difficulty 3/10 Overnight: Private Game Lodge DB&B
Day 03. Another morning cycle or an afternoon cycle can be enjoyed. The remainder of the day spent a few kilometers down the road in the Mapungubwe World Heritage Site and National Park, one of the richest archaeological sites in the country. Distance: 20 kms. Day 04. Depart for the world famous Kruger National Park where we enter at the Phalaborwa Gate, stopping for lunch at the largest baobab tree in the world. Once in the Park we start searching for the Big Five. Overnight: Kruger Park Rest Camp DB&B
Day 05. The Kruger National Park is South Africa's largest National Park and unquestionably, one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the world. It is recognized as the world's leader in African fauna and flora research and in environmental management. The park measures 350 kms from north to south, and approximately 60 kms at its widest point. Spend the day at a waterhole or driving around the Park. An afternoon cycle is on the cards. Day 06. This morning do an early morning cycle, breakfast & relax at the Camp. An evening game drive on an open vehicle is awaiting you today. Distance: 10 kms. Degree of difficulty 4/10 Overnight: Kruger Park Rest Camp DB&B
Day 07. Early departure to exit the Kruger, whilst looking for the elusive animals not yet seen. Your overnight accommodation is in Mogodi Lodge; which is located on the edge of the Graskop Gorge, overlooking some of the most stunning scenery. Overnight: Graskop Rest Camp DB&B
Day 08. Today we cycle to Wonder View & Bourke’s Luck Potholes. Lunch will be enjoyed at Harry’s Pancake House on your return to the Camp. Distance: 48 kms. Degree of difficulty 5/10 Overnight: Graskop Rest Camp DB&B
Day 09. Drive to Swadini Dam for spectacular views of the Three Rondawels. Then onto your bikes to cycle to Pilgrim’s Rest through some magnificent scenery. Distance: 50kms. Degree of difficulty 7/10. Overnight: Graskop Rest Camp DB&B
Day 10. Drive back to Johannesburg over the Long Tom Pass. Arrive in time to catch your flight back to Europe.
