Traveling around the world is a growing business. One of the most favored means of traveling is flying. After the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, inflation, fuel prices, and labor shortage, airline costs have raised considerably in the past few years. While these prices are growing higher, an abundance of flight booking apps has appeared worldwide to help people find the best deals possible. The best flight apps nowadays offer features to alert the user of real-time price alterations, search for cheaper travel times, find multi-stop travels, and most importantly find the cheapest flights available.

Skyscanner

Skyscanner.com is simply one of the best flight-booking applications available especially for flexible dates. Their database searches over 1200 airlines which enables it to find results even for less traveled routes. Search results contain ratings for airlines to help facilitate making a decision.

Kiwi

Kiwi.com is often able to find the cheapest flights compared to other providers. This application searches each leg of the journey separately and can partner with different airlines together to form the cheapest multi-destination flight plan. The search results are fast. The company even guarantees to provide replacements and if needed accommodation in case of cancelations.

Momodo

Momodo.com has been among the top flight booking applications since 2006 although it has fallen a bit in the past few years. Momodo offers direct booking on its app. It also has a nice interface and a great feature that automatically categorizes the flight lists into the cheapest, quickest, and best flights in individual tables.

Hopper

Hopper.com was first launched in 2015 and is now among the best with a simple, intuitive, and colorful interface. It has a useful color-coded calendar listing the cheapest travel days for months to come. It additionally offers a bar graph scoring the flights on each date based on airline, price, fare class, duration, and stopovers.

Kayak

Kayak.com is a corporate sister of Booking.com. Kayak is another great app in this list that allows hotel booking and car renting as well as finding the cheapest flight prices. It comes with a simple interface able to find speedy results. The only downside to this app is that it doesn’t show baggage fees.

Air Asia

Airasia.com is a Malaysian multinational low-cost airline and the largest airline in Malaysia. Airaisia is the best app to use for booking an AirAisia flight but it occasionally offers discounts to its frequent users. This app is a better option for finding the best deals for traveling around Asia.

Trarveloka

Traveloka.com is an Indonesian tech company focused on travel and ticketing. This application is available in Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Australia. It has been dubbed the leading travel platform in Southeast Asia in 2022.

Ctrip

Formally Ctrip.com, Trip.com is a Chinese-based global online app that allows its users to book flights up to 6 months in advance. It is one of the largest online travel agencies and a parent company of Skyscanner.

Snapp

Snapp.ir is the leading flight booking application in Iran. This iranian based super application is available in two languages for global and domestic flight booking. With a user-friendly interface, Snapp trip offers direct booking on its app. This application also allows users to alternate their search results based on cheapest, most expensive, most discount price as well as latest, shortest and longest flight time. Snapp also searches each leg of the journey separately to find the cheapest flight plan for its users. Its cancelation policy is also satisfactory with a relatively low cancelation fee.

Alibaba

Alibaba.ir is an Iranian-based application for flight booking. It is ranked among the best travel websites in the country with a simple interface and a good cancelation policy. Flightio

Flightio.com started as an iranian online travel agency in 2016. Similar to Alibaba and Snapp, Flightio is also capable of searching multi-destination flight plans but it offers an additional pop-up price calendar to its users which shows the cheapest days around the same days to see the cheapest days to fly at a glance.
