What to do during your 5 Days Thailand Itinerary

  • August 3, 2021
  • Jules
If you have more than 5 day, there are many possibilities for your Thailand itinerary. If not, you can still visit the best palaces and do unforgettable things in less than a week, including breathtaking scenery and blue waters.

Our quick day-by-day guide will help you make the best use of your time for your 5 day Thailand itinerary. So, here we come!

Thailand Itinerary Day-1: Arrival at Bangkok Airport.

On the first day, youโ€™ll land at Bangkok airport. You should also make sure you have your Visit ThailandPass.com as this will make sure you are able to enter the country. After hours of flight, you might need rest. And, perhaps over half of the day would have already passed. So, plan to visit Bangkok once youโ€™re fresh, preferably the next day.

Thailand Itinerary Day-2: Visit Bangkok.

By the second day, you can start with these activities.
Pay Homage at Wat Arun
It can be the best idea to begin your tour in Bangkok by visiting Wat Arunโ€™s eminent towers. Built during the mid 18th, this Khmer-style stupa is impressive to catch your attention for hours. But, donโ€™t spend much time there because you also have to visit the next palaces.
Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew
The Grand Palace will be your next destination with its incredible architecture. The Thai King had built it in 1872, and it remained a part of the royal court for over 150 years. In the same way, the Wat Phra Kaew is another attraction with Budhaโ€™s image engraved on emeraldโ€™s block dating back to 15h C.
Chinatown Market
How many times you might have listened to Chinatown. Now, youโ€™ll be feeling lucky to have it before your eyes. Chinatown will welcome you with its delicious Chinese foods.ย  The Chinatownโ€™s gate: kingโ€™s birthday celebration arch is a stunning spot in Chinatown. If you go there, don’t miss standing by it. In the same way, at night, you can also enjoy outstanding food at Yaowarat.
Dinner Cruise
Chao Phraya River at Bangkok is no less than a miracle when the twilight appears to create a spell-bounding view. You can invite this magic of the beautiful scenery to mesmerize you. For this purpose, have a ride on a yacht or boat.
Soi Rambuttri:
Do you love to recall how places looked like before modernity? When itโ€™s the case, go to Soi Rambttri. You can witness the old Thai lifestyle with shady trees bent over the footpaths here. The effect of this palace is so irresistible that you can see many tourists sitting on the footpaths and becoming a part of old Thai culture.

Thailand Itinerary Day-3: Go to Phuket

The next day you have to reach Phuket and start exploring it. Here is what you can do at Phuket. Head towards Blue Beach of Phuket. If you’re a social butterfly, you can go to the Phuket beach that is full of people. You can spend your time on this crowded beach observing folks and blue waters at the same time.
Roam at Kata Beachย
After spending some time at Phuket beach, you can come to Kata Beach, a much quieter palace with lush green scenery.
Try Diving and Snorkeling
Snorkeling and diving are the best things that you can do in Phuket during your 5 days in Thailand. So, here at Phuket, you can have a wonderful experience of snorkeling in the 26-30 degrees warm and clear water.
Go to Wat Chalong
Coming to Phuket and missing the Wat Chalng might not be possible under the sun. So, come to Wat Chalong: the largest temple in Phuket. Youโ€™ll see the wax models of two Bdha monks also here. Remember, be respectful and use suitable dressing.
Visit Sirinart National Park
Phuket is a land of natural Scenery. Then how can you miss the 90 square kilometers of Sirinat National park with its fresh and peaceful beaches? If you come here during Nov-Feb. You can also see beautiful leatherback turtles.

Thailand Itinerary Day-4: Visit Phi Phi Island.

When youโ€™re in Thailand for a shorter period, you might not like to miss Koh Phi Phi Island. Here is what can make you more remarkable here.
Fall in Love with Koh Phi Phi Leh Island
The uninhabited island of Koh Phi Phi Leh is the 2nd largest island in Phi Phi Archipelago with its clear water, green tropical vegetation, and white sand. To sum up, it offers an Eden- like view.
Keep Bamboo Island on your List
Among the six islands of Koh Phi Phi, Bamboo island is welcoming with its snorkeling opportunities on coral reefs-filled shores. You can also spend the night here.
Shark Watching Tour
You can get your entire trip paid back if you win to catch the view of gorgeous leopard sharks. You can enjoy a shark-watching tour arranged by professional guides.
Do Cliff Jumping
Another enthralling part of your tour to Thailand can be cliff jumping. At Koh Phi Phi, you can find many safest spots to try diving into life-filled waters.
Enjoy Unique Doctor Fish
Describing the experience of Doctor fish massage can be hard. How can you feel when you soak your feet and hundreds of red Garra fishes remove the dead skin from your feet even though they don’t have teeth?

Thailand Itinerary Day-5: Departure

Now itโ€™ll be a day to leave Thailand. You can make the day memorable by reflecting on your trip memories or recording them in your travel diary. Have a wonderful breakfast, pack your bags and go to the airport.ย
