If you are looking to travel, then the first thing that you should always consider is where exactly you plan on staying and sleeping each night. There are many different options to consider nowadays, with different people renting out their homes and new hotels and inns popping up all over the place. The main question you might have is ‘which place is the best to stay?’. The answer is not quite as simple as it seems, due to  many different variables which must be considered when answering that question. There are also some great websites which will help you find the right vacation spot – such as cozycozy.com. This article will seek to help you decide which option is right for you, while highlighting the unique qualities of each place where you could potentially stay using a few key criteria.

Room size

The first difference between a hotel and an inn is the size of the room which you will be staying in. Generally speaking, hotels offer larger room sizes, with inns offering smaller ones. There are always exceptions to the rule, but more often than not this holds true. Just because a room is smaller does not mean that it will be of lower quality, as many inns offer extremely opulent rooms for rent.

Food options

Another main difference between a hotel and an inn is the type of food options available. Most hotels will offer full room service, often with a large amount of food options to choose from, similar to a restaurant. Inns will sometimes offer food services, but will usually be more limited in options, then a hotel.

Location

One of the main differences between a hotel and an inn is that most hotels are located in the heart of the city, whereas inns are generally located in more rural areas. If you are looking for a more rustic experience, then it is recommended that you look into staying at an inn. The Emeraldinn.com.au is a great place to investigate if you are staying in the Queensland area. Most people who travel generally stay in a big resort, or in a large hotel. By choosing an inn you will be getting a more personal experience, without sacrificing any of the comforts of a nice hotel.

Accommodations

Another difference between hotels and inns is that most hotels will offer some kind of accommodations such as a free breakfast, a pool, gym or even a casino! All of these extra accommodations can make for a much more enjoyable stay, but also can create a higher price per room when compared to an inn. Be sure to call ahead to make sure that all the accommodations are available, otherwise you may be subject to a discounted rate.

Hopefully this article has been helpful and informative regarding the difference between a hotel and an inn, and ultimately which will be better for you to stay in. As you see in the aforementioned paragraphs, this question is not as simple as you would think, and there are many different variables and criteria which you must consider when deciding where to stay. Be sure to think through what you are looking for out of your lodgings, and it will help to guide you to the best possible decision.
