American Airports for Art Lovers

One of the best reasons to travel is to experience art and culture. At any point you may book a private jet charter from evojets to Miami, a city known for its art history and beauty, because art itself provides an enriching experience that little else can provide.

But while you probably associate art and culture with specific cities, what you may not realize is that the airports themselves all over the United States are becoming their own hub for art and culture, trying to share in the rich history of their city and artists so that travelers can experience their artistic styles without even leaving the airport.

Airports with Notable Art and Beauty

Recently there has been a significant push to try to get a city’s art and culture in the eyes of those that visit, even if they never set foot outside of the airport. Several airports have added their own natural art galleries all over and inside of their walls for travelers to enjoy, and many more are currently in the process of undergoing renovations to show a greater commitment to art for visitors.

Some examples of airports that already have some outstanding art include:

Miami International Airport

Miami Intl Airport has been completely overhauled and commissioned pieces from a variety of local artists, adding galleries to its design for art lovers to enjoy. Miami is also a common location for many of our charter flights at evoJets, and many of our clients have mentioned their love of the Miami Airport.

O'Hare International Airport in Chicago

O'Hare International Airport is part of Chicago’s Public Art Program. You’ll find paintings, sculptures, and exhibits throughout O’Hare, as well as an airport that is decorated with great style.

Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta

Hartsfield Jackson International Airport hosts its own airport art program, complete with commissioned artwork, rotating exhibitions, and even live performance art and music.

These are only scratching the surface, as many other airports, like San Francisco International Airport and New York City’s LaGuardia Airport are all either hosting art exhibits or in the process of rebuilding to become more of an art hub.

For all of these airports, the goal is to make sure that the art and culture of their city isn’t lost to travelers that are unable to spend much time exploring, and for many, that makes them a destination of their own.
