Angels and Demons was a blockbuster movie that showed a stunning history of monuments in Rome. The Pantheon built between AD 118-125 is the best preserved building from ancient Rome and is known as the temple for all gods. Santa Maria del Popolo is also featured in the film. The outside of the church is rather plain, perhaps a careful plan that only accentuates the awe inspiring beauty that waits inside.
