Orsomarso is a delightful medieval town in the province of Cosenza in the Calabria region of southern Italy. It is completely immersed in the Pollino national park which is rich in wildlife and natural charm. Why go there? Well, many tourists from all over the world and locals too, visit the place because it is one of the few places in Calabria suitable for extreme sports, among which you'll be spoiled for choice. With the professional guidance of the experts in extreme sports and with Good2Go travel insurance you can live an experience full of adrenaline!

Along the main street, you reach the Natural Reserve of the river Argentino, which, for the more adventurous, you can go with a Quad through dirt trails, rich in small tributaries of the river Lao, where, with a little luck, you can see deer, otters, wolves and birds.. But the tourist offer does not end there: for lovers of more "dangerous" sports,  it is possible to descend the river Lao using the most disparate boats and water sports (canyoning, rafting, kayaking) to admire the beautiful  river and quench their thirst for adventure.

Breathtaking scenery and wildlife are the things that you can see in this spine-tingling destination. An excellent opportunity to visit, Calabria which is different than the usual familiar crowded beaches in August.

Travel tip: if you want to go on adventurous hikes and extreme sports rely on to many schools in the area, which in addition to the expertise and experience will be ready to negotiate the price if you will be more than 4 people. If you want to stop for a rest and take a long weekend, the advice is to stop at the Village Calabria Costa Tiziana.
