We will have site seeing of the surroundings and time to bath, swim and enjoy. Just to see, how Gods own country looks like to the first sight, we will also a walk to the symbol of the town, Kovalam lighthouse. From there, we will admire unforgettable view to the surroundings.
Kanyakumari is located in Tamil Nadu and represents site where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast. A memorial built in his honor is accessible via ferry. We will enter into this boat and step on this special places, to feel the energy which is created between big Indian Ocean, Land and Indian culture.
With the Arabian Sea on the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water river crossing it, Alappuzha (Alleppy) is a district of immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from across the world, this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. In that Indian Venice, you will enter into Houseboat, traditional boat for rice transport.
Munnar. It is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 meters above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Landscape, seriously, is quite similar like Scotland.
Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is essentially a tea town. The tea plantations have now been taken over by the Tata Tea Company. The visitor is greeted with miles and miles of unending tea plantations on entry into Munnar, which is exchanging with fields of coffee, cardamom, pepper, banana, mango, coconut and eucalyptus. Pure paradise. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji a flower which bathes the hills in blue color once in twelve years. The Neelakurinji will bloom next in 2018 AD, however, individual blossoms could be found every year. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi - which towers over 2695 meters and is highest mountain in India out of Himalaya.
Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. Kochi is the arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity and beauty of Kerala, rated in the top three tourist destinations by the World Travel & Tourism Council and featured in National Geographic Traveler's '50 greatest places of a lifetime'. After arrival we will visit old city center (Fort Cochi) and explore small streets, where in radius of 1 kilometer standing Hindu Temples, Muslim Mosques, Christian Churches and Jewish synagogue. You really do not see such religious tolerance every day! We will take a look most more closely Fort Kochi beach, St. Francis Church (Church, where Vasco Da Gamma was buried), Fort Kochi, Vasco House, Fort Kochi, Jewish Synagogue and Jew Town, Mattancherry, Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace), Mattancherry, Bolghatty Palace, Chinese fishing nets and Bolghatty Island. Maybe to refresh ourselves, we could try some fresh coconut milk directly from a coconut.
