This luxury safari takes you first to Nairobi then onto Aberdares National Park where you stay at the famous Treetops Lodge. You then move on to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous for its large population of the pink flamingos, which sometimes number over a million. The park is also home to white rhino, the rare black rhino among other wild animals. You are almost certain to see the most elusive of the cat family, the leopard.

From there you move into the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara Reserve is one of the most well known parks bordering both Kenya and Tanzania. It is one of the richest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. It is in this very terrain that the annual migration takes place when millions of zebras, wildebeests and gazelles cross the plains below on their way to the rich new grasses of the Serengeti. This is a spectacle that should be witnessed at least once in a lifetime.

En route back to Nairobi you will pass down the steep eastern escarpments of the Great Rift Valley. The Great Rift Valley stretches all the way from Jordan in the Middle East to Southern Africa. It is an awesome sight to see. Your next destination is the Serengeti. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara attract visitors from around the world, who flock to the open plains to witness the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet. More than a million animals make the seasonal journey to fresh pasture to the north, then the south, after the biannual rains. The sound of their thundering hooves, raising massive clouds of thick red dust, has become one of the legends of the Serengeti plains. The entire ecosystem thrives from the annual migration, from the lions and birds of prey that gorge themselves on the weak and the faltering to the gamut of hungry crocodiles that lie in patient wait at each river crossing for their annual feed.

After your safari you can enjoy a few days relaxing on the beach on the stunning island of Zanzibar.
