Itinerary
Day 01. South Africa – Botswana; Departing early morning, the road takes us through the Waterburg towards the border of Botswana, and then on to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. Late afternoon we will go on a game drive in the sanctuary. Meals: Dinner. Accommodation: Camping
Day 02. Maun; Leaving early morning the road takes us north through this semi desert country. The drive takes us through the central Kalahari and then up to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Once in camp your guide will explain the do’s and don’ts of the Okavango Delta. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner. Accommodation: Camping
Day 03. Okavango Delta; Leaving the world behind us we make our way into the Okavango Delta for the bush experience of a life time. The 4x4 vehicles will take us into the Delta and the drive will take us through the Mopani forest before getting to the edge of the Delta. Once in the Delta we’ll settle down into the Mokoro (dug-out canoe). Whilst our guides pole us down the waterways of this 14000 square kilometer wildlife wilderness, we can enjoy the tranquility of the Delta. Our camp is somewhere in the wilderness. Walking safaris and wildlife are on our doorstep for you to enjoy. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Bush camp
Day 04. : Planet Baobab; After a last walk in the wilderness we will make our way back to the Mokoro station where the 4x4 vehicles will collect us and take us back to the main camp in Maun, in time for lunch. This afternoon we will pack up and make our way to Planet Baobab for the night. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Camping
Day 05. Chobe National Park; Today we head further north through the Kasane forest where we always see herds of elephants, rare antelopes and sometimes lion, hyena and wild dog. We will be staying in Kasane, on the shores of the Chobe River at Thebe River Lodge, at the gateway to the Chobe National Park. Here you can relax at the swimming pool overlooking the river, where you stand a good chance of seeing animals like elephant, buffalo and hippo, as well as a large variety of bird species. This afternoon we will go on a river cruise into Chobe National Park, well known for its large variety and numbers of wildlife. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Camping
Day 06. Chobe National Park; After an early morning cup of coffee or tea and biscuits you will go on a morning game drive into Chobe National Park for around three hours. Your guide will have brunch ready for you on your return. This afternoon we will go on a river cruise into Chobe National Park, well known for its large variety and numbers of wildlife. Meals: Brunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Camping
Day 07. Victoria Falls; After breakfast a short drive takes us across the border and on to the adventure capital of the world, Victoria Falls, which is considered to be one of the safest tourist destinations in southern Africa. On arrival your guide will assist you with the changing of money and booking of your optional activities, before taking you to one of the seven natural wonders of the world - the magnificent Victoria Falls. The waterfall is 1700 meters (1.1 mile) wide, of which 1300 meters is on the Zimbabwean side, including the main falls. Late afternoon we will do a sunset cruise on the 4th largest river in Africa (the Zambezi River), which has national parks on both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides of the river. All soft drinks, wine, beer and finger snacks are included in the cruise. You will have plenty of free time whilst in Victoria Falls to explore the town, meet the locals, visit the African arts and craft markets, relax by the pool in the heat of the day, and to take part in some of the many optional activities on offer here. Meals: Breakfast, 1 x Dinner. Accommodation: Camping

Day 10. Elephant Sands; Leaving the wonder of the Victoria Falls behind us, we cross back into Botswana, and head to our overnight camp, Elephant Sands. This afternoon you will have the opportunity to go on a game drive in the area with a local guide (own cost). Meals: Breakfast, Dinner. Accommodation: Camping
Day 11. Palapye; Today we will continue south through Botswana, and spend the night just close to the border with South Africa. As this is the last night of the tour, your guide will organize an outdoor restaurant meal. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Camping
Day 12. Pretoria; After a cup of coffee or tea and biscuits we will cross back into South Africa and make our way back to Pretoria. Meals: Breakfast
