The adventure will start in the Pueblo Magico de Bernal (magic city of Bernal), then we will continue the discovery of the state in the Sierra Gorda, endowed with incredible natural places of interest and we will finish the tour by flying in balloon above the cultural city of Tequisquiapan. During this adventure you will climb, do bungee jumping, hydro speed down rapids, do cultural visits, descent with a zip-line, ride taxi-donkey and fly in balloon. A full day by day itinerary will be provided by the tour operator when you make an enquiry about this holiday.

Itinerary
Day 01. Querétaro / Bernal (37 miles) - After being arrived to Querétaro, one of our tour guides will give you a brief tour of the city before driving you to the city of Bernal. An information meeting will be organized for presenting you the different stages of the adventure and the activities. Your tour guide will answer to all the interrogations you could have, in the goal to start the journey in the most suitable conditions for you.
Day 02. Bernal / Cadereyta (10 miles) - The adventure will start by the climbing up until the top of the famous Peña de Bernal (even though the climbing is about 200m high, it is quite easy, therefore even the beginner will be able to reach the top of the third-tallest monolith in the world and enjoy the view over the entire valley!). Finally, we will go to the city of Cadereyta where some traditional dishes will be waiting for you and will reward the efforts of this first day. After having visited the Regional Botanic Garden of Cadereyta, a night well deserved will be award to you in one of the city’s hotels.
Day 03. Cadereyta / Bucareli (64 miles) - Early in the morning, we will depart to the city of Bucarelli. Where we will either hike or ride mountain bike tour (optional) down until the impressive Bucarelli Franciscan’s Mission. It was built for the evangelization of indigenes people in the XVIII century. For the last step of the day, you will get to the camp, in which we will sleep, thanks to a zip-line (for this intense day, we advise you to were suitable clothes).
Day 04. Bucarelli / Canyon de l’Angostura / Puente de Dios / Cascade del Chuveje / Jalpan de la Sierra (33 miles) - After this intensive beginning, the third day will be dedicated to the tranquillity and the harmony that this region is able to give us. The day will start by the visit of the splendid Angostura Canyon, which will lead us to one of the most beautiful natural place of interest of the state, El Puente de Dios (God’s Bridge). This natural structure will offer to you an extraordinary spectacle: imagine a natural well, full of a clear and turquoise water in which several waterfalls, gushing from the wall, throw continually themselves. Above this spectacle, you have to add a natural bridge of rock (which was a former hill, eroded from inside). After a while of relaxation in this place of peace, we will guide you to the Chuveje Waterfall. There, natural pools whose waters are turquoise will be waiting for you for a well deserved swimming. Finally, you will be driven to the picturesque city of Jalpan de Serra, in which we will visit one of the five Franciscan Missions, built in 1744. The dinner and the night will be provided in this city.
Day 05. Jalpan / Sotano del Barro / Jalpan (13 miles) - How could we start in a better way this day than by admiring hundreds of parrots gushing up from a natural pit of 450m of deepness with in addition the sunrise over the mountains of the Sierra Gorda? Indeed, each night, these tropical birds come to nest in this cavity which is one of the deepest of the world. After having observed this natural spectacle that the Soltano del Barro offers, we will have a breakfast nearby the pit and you will have some free time for discovering the other richness of the place of interest. The way back to the civilization will be done in a quite different way as usual. Indeed, you will get back to Jalpan by riding a taxi-donkey. When you will be in the city, you will have all the evening to have a rest and enjoy the swimming pool of the hotel.
Day 06. Jalpan / Couvent de Conca / Santa Maria and Ayutla rivers’ junction/ Jalpan (26 miles) We will start this day by the visit of the Franciscan Covent of Conca. Then, we will guide you to the junction of two rivers of the Sierra Gorda, the Santa Maria and Ayutla rivers. While we will be there, we will realize the most extreme activities of our tour. You will have the opportunity to challenge your fears by doing bungee jumping and descending rapids in hydro speed! Also, you will have the time to take advantage of the junction of these rivers by swimming in tranquility in theirs waters endowed with a very special colour and beauty. This night will be the last one in the city of Jalpan.
Day 07. Jalpan / Missions Franciscaines / Xilitla (51 miles) - After having packed our belongings, we will dedicate this day to cultural visits and the discovery of some architectural marvellous as the Franciscan Missions of Matamoros, Tancoyol and Tilaco. Then we will drive you to the city of Xilitla. In addition of being really picturesque, this city welcomed the eccentric Edward James. He became famous for having built in the middle of the rainforest, surrealist buildings of concrete. This astonishing fusion between the nature and the concrete is so fascinating that some huge artists as Salvador Dali or Pablo Picasso came to take inspiration from it. We will sleep in a camp nearby Xilitla.
Day 08. Xilitla / Tequisquiapan (152 miles) - For this day, we will visit the Edwrad James’ house and its sumptuous gardens. You will also have some free times for relaxing next to the waterfalls and the natural pools which are nearby the house. At midday we will live the Sierra Gorda for having lunch in the wonderful city of Tequisquiapan. After this traditional meal, we will invite you to get on our balloons for living an unforgettable experience by seeing from above some of the steps of your adventure, as the Pena de Bernal, the Sierra Gorda and even the city of Querétaro! We will sleep in a hotel of the city.
Day 09. Tequisquiapan / Querétaro (43 miles) - For the last day, after being arrived to Querétaro, you will have some free times for enjoying the beautiful centre of the capital of the state, which is also a great example of the colonial Spanish art. Finally, it will be the time to say goodbye and to drive you back to the airport if you need it.
