Day 01. Dakar - Arrival in Dakar, meet at the airport . Welcome and transfer to your hotel. Overnight
Day 02. Dakar/Saloum - Breakfast in hotel and leave for the Saloum River Delta, passing through Rufisque, the baobab forest of Sindia, the traditional villages of the Fatik region. Initiation to rhythms and dances in the Serer ethnic group areas. Pic - nic lunch. In the afternoon visit their serer villages. Dinner at hotel Niominka while a local folklore group is performing dances of their villages. Overnight
Day 03. Niominka/Toubacouta - Breakfast and departure for Toubacouta via Ndagane, Fatick and Kaolack. Experience other sounds of the area, proving the richness of the wide Serer culture. Arrive in Kaolack for lunch. Afternoon visit the village of Kahone where you will meet the Masters of Ndaga, typical traditional dance with its own music performed by Ndaga drummers. Proceed to Toubacouta in the afternoon. Dinner at Paletuvier lodge (3 stars). Overnight
Day 04. Toubacouta - Breakfast and departure for the visit of the village of Toubacouta. Here you will have a workshop on drumming with the drum-beaters of the village. Lunch. Lunch at the hotel –lodge and afternoon continuation with an initiation to Sabar and Tama drumming.Dinner and overnight at Paletuvier –lodge
Day 05. Toubacouta/Ziguinchor - Breakfast in the hotel and departure for Casamance going through the Gambia. Visit Banjul the capital town, visit the traditional market, the national museum and continue to Kafountine for lunch. Afternoon proceed to Ziguinchor visiting on the way the traditional villages of Baila and Diouloulou. Meet with the women association in Badiana and perform with them the harvest dances . Drive in Ziguinchor. Dinner and overnight hotel Aubert in Ziguinchor
Day 06. Ziguinchor - Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, visit of traditional animist villages in the lower Casamance area. Here, dances and ethnic music are the basis of all initiation ceremonies and the rites of passages in these traditional societies. Initiation to Bougarabou rythms and dances. You will also be initiated to Inconting, traditional Diola music which is generally retained as being the roots of Blues music. Lunch in Cap Skirring Beach resort and afternoon relax before coming back to Ziguinchor. Dinner and overnight at hotel Aubert.
Day 07. Ziguinchor /Saly - Breakfast in hotel .Leave Ziguinchor for the resort of Saly on the Small Coast area. Visit the Fulani villages on the way and experience their music basically performed with wind and string instruments. Lunch in Kaolack and arrival in Saly in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at hotel Les Bougainvillées
Day 08. Saly/Dakar - Morning visit of the Bandia natural park with its wide panorama of wilde life. Lunch in the park. Afternoon transfer to Dakar. Dinner in a typical restaurant ad transfer to the airport.
