The next day we’ll visit Masaya, known as the city of flowers and cradle of Nicaraguan folklore; and the colonial city of Leon where we’ll visit its most important sites like its Cathedral, considered as the biggest one in Central America. Finally on the last day of our journey we’ll take you to El Guasaule border so you can continue your trip to Honduras.

Day 01. Peñas Blancas – Ometepe. Greeting at your arrival at Peñas Blancas Border. Transfer to Ometepe Island. From a short distance we can appreciate the beautiful and unique landscape of an island with two volcanoes: Concepcion and Maderas. Upon our arrival we will visit the town of Altagracia, its Church and the museum of Archeology. Later we will visit Charco Verde Lagoon and its beautiful scenic landscape; Ojo de Agua where you can enjoy a warm bath and the petroglyphs.
Day 02. Ometepe – Granada. Breakfast at the hotel. Early transfer to Granada. Here you can observe the beautiful architecture and learn more about our history and culture at the Museum of San Francisco Convent – known for its collection of pre-Columbian statutes and pottery - and Casa de los Tres Mundos. Then we'll embark on a boat tour of Granada's famous Isletas, an archipelago formed by an ancient volcanic explosion, just off the shore of Lake Nicaragua.
Day 03. Granada – Masaya – Leon. Breakfast at the hotel. At 8.00 am we’ll begin out transfer to Masaya. First we will visit the Handicraft Market where you can find great souvenirs and beautiful crafts made out of wood and ceramics, embroidery, hammocks, clothes and jewelry. Then we’ll go to Masaya Volcano National Park where we can go near the edge of an active crater by vehicle in a paved road. Finally we’ll get to Leon, a colonial city that stands out for its architecture jewels and its important role in Nicaragua's history. During our city tour we will visit the Cathedral of Leon, one of the most beautiful temples of the continent and the biggest one in Central America, recently declared as a World Heritage Site. This temple is the resting place of great Nicaraguan characters like Ruben Dario and Salomon de la Selva. You will also have the chance to visit the Art Centre of Ortiz-Gurdian Foundation and the Ruben Dario Museum, located in the house where the great poet lived during 14 years.
Day 04. León – Guasaule. Breakfast at the hotel. Early transfer to El Guasaule border.
