A full day by day itinerary will be provided by the tour operator when you make an enquiry about this holiday.

  • The horse ride fees in Petra is for 800 metres, it is included in the entry ticket. Guests can take it or not & both ways it's paid. This ride is not insured and upon guest's own responsibility.

Itinerary
Day 01. Arrival Amman. Our Office Representative will meet and assist you upon your arrival at the Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to Amman for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02. Amman/ Um Qais/ Ajlun/ Jerash/ Amman. Breakfast. Transfer to visit Um Qais. Enjoy scenic views of the Yarmouk River, the Golan Heights and Lake Tiberias. Um Qais was known as Gadara, one of the most ancient Greco-Roman cities of the Decapolis. Proceed through wild pine forests and olive groves to visit the ancient castle of Ajloun. Transfer to the roman city of Jerash, which was know in Roman times as Gerasa, with its colonnaded street, the south theatre, the Temple of Zues, the Oval Piazza and Hadrian’s Arch. Return to Amman. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03. Amman City Tour/ Desert Castles/ Amman. Breakfast. City tour of Amman. Visit the Amman amphitheatre ruins, the Citadel, which is located on a hill with wonderful views of the old city, ruins of the Temple of Hercules and Omayyad Palace. Free time for walking /shopping in the old downtown area of the city. Transfer to the Desert Castles, Qasr Amra, Al-Azraq and Al-Kharaneh, built by the Omayyad Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th century A.D. Transfer back to Amman. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04. Amman/ Madaba/ Mt. Nebo/ Wadi Mujeb/Dana. Breakfast. Transfer via the famous Kings Highway (one of the oldest trading routes in Jordan). The first sop will be the ancient town of Madaba (known as the City of Mosaics). Then on to Mount Nebo Monastery. Here you will enjoy stunning views across the Jordan Valley. Transfer to Dana Reserve, which is surrounded by mountains from the top of the valley down to the desert highlands of Wadi Araba. Overnight at the reserve.
Day 05. Dana / Shobak / Beida / Petra: Breakfast. Enjoy a guided hiking tour for 2-3 hours in Dana Reserve. You will discover wonderful views and local culture. Transfer to visit Shobak, where you can visit Shobak Castle, known as Mont Realis (Montreal), built in 1115 CE by Baldwin 1. The castle is on top of a small hill, northeast of the town of Shobak. Inside the castle there are two churches, ruins of baths and rainwater pipes. Transfer north of Petra to visit Beida (little Petra), which was the main caravan station of the Nabatean Kingdom. After a 15 minute walk you will reach the Neolithic village of Beida. Transfer to Petra. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06. Petra. Breakfast. Visit to the ancient Nabatean Capital- the Red Rose City of Petra. The visit begins with a horseback ride through an alley (Al Siq), between two overhanging cliffs. Visit the Treasury (Al-Khazneh) and then proceed to the mysteries of the Red Rose City. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07. Petra/Wadi Rum. Breakfast. Transfer to the amazing desert landscape of Wadi Rum (made famous by Lawrence of Arabia). Enjoy a Jeep Tour (4x4) for wonderful views of the Wadi until sunset. Bedouin dinner and overnight at camp
Day 08. Wadi Rum /Bethany /Dead Sea: Breakfast. Transfer to visit the baptism site. (Bethany beyond the Jordan), where John the Baptist lived and baptized. The site is a unique and spiritual place. Transfer to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09. Sea. Breakfast. Free time and leisure at the Dead Sea. Float and relax in the salty healing waters of the sea. Take a mud bath or experience one of the well–being programs at your hotel spa. Overnight at hotel.
