Itinerary
Day 01. We depart toward the Gjirokastra World Heritage Site 50 minutes drive . On the way a brief description of the Monastery of Mesopotam a Byzantine architecture jewel from 12 century A.D. Also a brief talk on the Ancient City of Phoinice nearby. . Travelling through the Pass of Muzine and the Drinos Valley . Arriving in Gjirokastra . Visiting the Ethnographic Museum once the House of the Communist Dictator Enver Hoxha. A visit will be arranged also at the castle of Gjirokastra one of the largest Castles in the Balkans as well as the Museum of Arms . Lunch at a local restaurant at the Old Bazaar. Returnee to Saranda
