After breakfast, depart for a sightseeing tour of Accra in a brand new air conditioned 15-seater bus. You will drive through the administrative and economic districts of Accra, capital Ghana. It is 128-year old city that has a blend of colonial and modern architecture. You will visit the WEB Dubois center for pan African culture, independence/black star square and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. After your lunch, visit the University Of Ghana at Legon, the first university to be built in the country, where you will be given a lecture on African culture. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at the Arts Centre where you will have an opportunity to use your bargaining skills as you shop for artifacts from Ghana and West Africa. Dinner and overnight at Ambassador hotel, Accra.
