|La Fortuna – Lava! We’ll have one of our friendly drivers pick you up at the airport for your private shuttle – we’ll travel about 3 hours through rolling hills and enchanting valleys tucked away in lush rainforest. You’re bound to see some wildlife as we make our way to what is considered “The Epicenter of Adventure!” And hopefully you’ll have a clear night while you’re in La Fortuna to spot some Lava!|
|La Fortuna – Lava! Let the adventure begin! Your choice of: • Rafting the beautiful class 2-3 Río Balsa • Rafting the class 3-4 Río Toro or • An easy-going safari float on the Peñas Blancas river • Stand Up Paddling on Lake Arenal A delicious lunch is included. You’ll then have time to explore the cozy little adventure town of La Fortuna. Dinner on your own, but we have great suggestions and discounts at selected locations.|
|La Fortuna – Lava! Lost Canyon Adventures: GO BIG! You’re chance to try Costa Rica’s newest, most-unique, high-end adventure! Rappel, downclimb and hike along a series of eight tropical waterfalls. Two of the waterfalls are over 200ft high! And then partake in the best meal you’ll have during the whole trip up ay our Lost Canyon Café – all-you-can-eat, natural food buffet. Liquid Lava Hike: We then head out on a nice walk through the forest to the base of the famous Arenal Volcano with a naturalist guide and later relax in natural hot. Dinner buffet included.|
|Monteverde – Jungle! Now we start the day on one of our innovative Adventure Connections: • Enjoy a nice and easy horseback ride from La Fortuna along Lake Arenal to the town of Río Chiquito and then we’ll transport you to the beautiful town of Monteverde in the midst of the cloud forest. • A rugged mountain bike ride along Lake Arenal • Taxi-Boat-Taxi ride – the fastest and scenic way to get to Monteverde Bring your jacket because you’re heading up the mountain to this remote, cloud forest town – nights can be chilly. You’ll have time to walk around town, visit the butterfly garden, serpentarium, bat jungle or art galleries, have a nice hot cup of Costa Rican coffee and buy some souvenirs. Dinner on your own, but again, we can suggest several delicious locations and pass on some discounts.|
|Samara – Beach! You’ll have the choice of doing a morning, guided-tour of a Cloud Forest Reserve or one of Monteverde’s zipline canopy tours. Vamos a la Playa! Then you can choose a shared tourist shuttle or private transport to Costa Rica’s prettiest coast – Playa Carrillo or Playa Samara. Get there in time to watch a spectacular sunset while sipping a piña colada on this gorgeous white sandy beach.|
