Tour Highlights

Yangon city tour - Afternoon tour of Yangon includes Karaweik Hall a Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop. Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha. Visit to the city centre with the gilded 2500 years Sule Pagoda. And visit colonial style buildings surrounding Mahabandula Park. Then drive to stroll through a narrow street of China Town including the short visit to Tao Temple. Then, shortly before sunset, the 107 meters high golden stupa of Shwedagon Pagoda will glitter in the soft light of the early evening.

Bago – Visit Kyat Khet Wine Monastery, where a thousand monks take their last meal of the day at 10:00 am in total silence, and Kanbawza Thardi Palace built by King Bayinnaung. Then continue to Kyaikthiyo, one of Myanmar’s landmark, which is famous for its position and religious importance: Kyaikhtiyo the “Golden Rock “, huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. To reach the pagoda from Kin Pun a steep 11km road leads to the upper staging point by trunk. Take a light trekking on the summit through bamboo forest. Enjoy the sunset beauty on the hill top.

Kyaikhtiyo(Golden Rock) -

Mandalay – visit to Mahamuni Image, Tapestry making home cottage, Marble carving workshop, Gold-leaf Beating workshop, silk weaving home cottage, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world’s Biggest Book for its stones slabs of Buddhist scriptures, Sulamani Pagoda. Mandalay Palace and in the evening enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill.

Amarapura – visit Mahagandayon Monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study, visit to U Bein Bridge. There you can take a walk over the world’s longest teakwood bridge.

Mingun – Then proceed to Mingun by private boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River. A village on the west bank of the river. Visit to Mingun Pahtotawgyi, the world renowned ringing Mingun Bell, Myatheintan Pagoda and surrounding village.

Sagaing – Sagaing Hill known as the center for meditation. Hill sides are dotted with numerous Pagodas and Monasteries. Visit to Khaungmudaw Pagoda, Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, Pottery Making village and Silver – smith workshop.

Innwa (Ava) – another ancient capital, known as the kingdom of Inwa during the second Myanmar Empire. It is a small town south of Amarapura. The sites to see in Inwa include Nan Myint Watch Tower, Maha Aungmyae Bonzan Monastery, Bagaya Monastery, and Inwa Bridge spanning the Ayeyarwaddy River

Bagan – A whole day boat trip to Bagan, while you can riding the activities on the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River, you will arrive in Bagan on late afternoon, Bagan is the first and most beautiful capital of the Burmese, founded in the eleventh century by a great king. Along with Ankor in Cambodia, this is the most important temple and pagoda complex in Asia. visit Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. Visit to Myinkaba Village and observe the process of Traditional Lacquer ware Industry one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Ananda Temple, and architectural masterpiece of the early- style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Mt.Popa –On the way visit Mt.Popa, is considered the early font of power for the mystical world of the nats. Climb up Mt.Popa and view the surrounding area

Pindaya and Inle lake – Visit Pinday cave, Pindaya lakes; home base paper making and umbrella making industry. Next proceed to the famous Inle lake, the residence of the Intha People and a kind of water world.Inle lake sightseeing by boat, visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, floating Gardens, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method, Silk Weaving, Stilt House villages on the lake and Nge Pe Chaung so called “ Jumping cat’s monastery” .

Kakku - a temple complex of more than 2000 stupas has lied hidden in the Pa-O heartland of Southern Shan State of centuries.

Itinerary
Day 01. Yangon arrival & sightseeing (by car) Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by representative and our tour guide. Check in to hotel. Afternoon tour of Yangon . Visit to the city centre . Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 02. Yangon – Bago – Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) (by car) After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kyaikhtiyo and on the way Bago sightseeing.
Day 03. : Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) – Bago – Yangon (by car) After breakfast at hotel, take a half hour walk to small cave. Also stop at the roadside shops for rare product of jungle, Midmorning, drive down to the base camp and return to Yangon. On the way visit most important sights of this old capital of the Mon People. Visit to Bago sightseeing : Shwemawdaw Pagoda and Shwethalyaung Pagoda (the world’s most beautiful recling Buddha). Then visit to Handicraft Centre, Hinthargone Pagoda, Cheroot Workshop, Weaving factory in Mon village, Chinese Temple and Pottery Sheds. Drive back to Yangon and overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 04. Yangon – Mandalay (by flight and car) After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport and flight to Mandalay. Arrive at Mandalay and check in to hotel. Mandalay full day sightseeing.
Day 05. : Mandalay – Amarapura – Mingun (by car & boat) After breakfast at hotel, excursion to Amarapura, visit Mahagandayon Monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study, visit to U Bein Bridge. There you can take a walk over the world’s longest teakwood bridge.

Day 11. : Inle Lake sightseeing (by boat excursion) After breakfast at hotel, Inle lake sightseeing by boat,
Day 12. Inle Lake – Taunggyi – Kakku – Nyaungshwe (by flight, car & boat) After breakfast at hotel, drive to Taunggyi. Capital of Shan State Taunggyi is a pine hill station. The weather is cool all year round and the winter months can be quite night. The local Market is well known throughout Myanmar.
Day 13. Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon (by flight & car) After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Heho airport and fly back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon hotel and free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 14. Yangon departure (by car) After breakfast at hotel, morning at Gems mart and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer to airport to departure.
