Itinerary
Day 01. Tirana Arrival - Arrival at Mother Teresa Airport. Transfer to Tirana. After accommodation at the hotel, the group will visit the national Museum. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel Tafaj
Day 02. Tiana- Kruja- Shkodra - After breakfast departure to Kruja, visit of Scanderbeg Museum and old bazaar. We take the road which leads to Shkodra. On the way, visit of Scanderbeg’s monument (tomb). Arrival at Shkodra in the afternoon. Visit of the Castle of Rozafa & Cathedral. Accommodation at Tradita hotel. Dinner & overnight at the Hotel.
Day 03. Shkoder- Lezha- Durres - After breakfast departure to Durres through Rinas - Vora. Visit of archeological museum, amphitheatre and city fortress. Lunch in a nice fish restaurant. In the afternoon free time to explore the city by your own, dinner, overnight in Durres, at Avi Hotel.
Day 04. Durres - Berat - After breakfast departure to Berat. On the way visit of Apollonia, an ancient Illyrian city. (founded in 588 BC). After the group departs to Berat. You will visit the Old Town inside the walls of medieval fortress on top of the hill overlooking the Osumi river. For its traditional characteristic architecture of its houses Berat has been proclaimed as a Live Museum Town. Inside the fortress you will visit the Cathedral of St Nicholas and Onufri’s museum. Dinner overnight in Berati at Magalemi Hotel.
Day 05. Berat - Vlora- Saranda - After breakfast departure to Saranda through Vlora and Albanian Riviera.Visit of Vlora, the Flag Square and Independence House, Continue climbing to 3,000 feet to Llogara where you can enjoy the best views, as we drive through the fertile slopes and villages. Stop for a special lunch in a restaurant in Llogara, enjoying the wonderful scenery among the pinewoods Drive along, Dhermi, Himara, coastline In the afternoon departure to Saranda. Arrival and accommodation at Brilant Hotel, dinner overnight at your Hotel.
Day 06. Saranda – Ksamil – Butrint - Lekurasi Castle - Full day at Saranda. Travel to Butrinti, visit archeological site the Greek and Roman ruins of Butrint, Albania’s most important archaeological site. lion’s gate & museum. Then we go to ‘’Ksamil’’ Village a nice seaside place.Back to Saranda and visit Lekurasi Castle After explore city by your own. Dinner overnight in Saranda in Brilant Hotel
Day 07. Saranda – Gjirokastra – Permet - Erseka - Korca - After breakfast drive to Korça via Gjirokastra – Permet, Visit Gjirokastra city where the dwelling houses have the form of medieval towers constituting a building ensemble with a characteristic architecture. Visit the Castle and the Museum of Weapons After visit Enver Hoxhas House, now converted in Ethnographic Museum.We proceed through nice valleys to reach Korça in the afternoon. Accommodation at your hotel in Grand Hotel in Korça. Visit of medieval museum, free time, dinner overnight at the Hotel.
Day 08. Korce - Progradec - Tirana - After breakfast departure to Tirana. Along the road visit of Pogradeci, the city on the shores of Ohrid Lake and Elbasan , the city where once the old via Egnatia passed . Arrival at Tirana in the afternoon. Accommodation at the hotel. A special dinner in one restaurant in Tirana with live music. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 09. Tirana – Rinas, Airport - After breakfast free time till 11.00. Departure to Mother Teresa Airport. End of the services
