Itinerary
Day 01. HANOI – ARRIVAL (-/-/D) - Welcome at the Noi Bai airport. Transfer to hotel. Take a cyclo ride tour of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, the focal point of the city. The Old Quarter with its bustling streets is home to hundreds of small thriving businesses, each street denoting its trade, such asShoes Street, Silk Street…. Enjoy a performance of the famous Water Puppet Show, a wonderful opportunity to learn about some of Vietnam’s mythology. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02. HANOI (B/L/D) - After breakfast. We enjoy a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh (closed on Monday, Friday, October and November), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam. After lunch, we visit to Army Museum, Hanoi Hilton – Prison. We visit these sights before continuing to the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem. Free for shopping. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03. HANOI – HOA LU – HAI PHONG (B/L/D) - Breakfast at hotel. We depart at approximately 08.00am from your hotel. After 2 hours trip to Ninh Binh Province. Visit Hoa Lu - The ancient Capital and the remaining two temples of Dinh King & Le King. Driving towards Tam Coc – the
Day 04. HAI PHONG – CAT BA – HA LONG (B/L/D) - Breakfast at hotel. AM: An over view drive of port city. 09h00 take a hydrofoil to Cat Ba island, the biggest island in Halong bay. After visit Cat Ba town get on boat to visit Halong Bay. Seafood lunch on boat. Explore Sung Sot cave. Back to Halong city. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Halong.
Day 05. HALONG – NOI BAI Airport – HUE (B/L/D) - Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue. Meet on arrive. Transfer for lunch at local restaurant. Check in hotel. PM: Visit Dong Ba market. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 06. HUE (B/L/D) - Breakfast at hotel. AM: Take a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the Royal Mausoleum of Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Lunch at restaurant. PM: Visit the Royal Mausoleum of Tu Duc, Khai Dinh, and the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07. HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B/L/D) - Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Da Nang via the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds). Stop at Lang Co beach. Marvelous seafood lunch at a simple restaurant Continue to Da Nang stop to visit Champ Museum and Marble Mountain. Continue to Hoi An. Arrive Hoi An. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.
Day 08. HOI AN – MY SON – HOI AN (B/L/D) - Breakfast. You will walk on the Japanese Bridge, visiting the different Chinese Assembly Halls and pagodas and walking the market. Hoi An is also a wonderful town to shop for silk. Lunch at restaurant. PM: Drive to visit My Son, the archeological site of My Son represents the longest continuous occupation for religious purposes within Southeast Asia. The site was inhabited from the 4th until the 15th century AD but today is a large complex of religious ruins, both ancient and mystical. On the way back to Hoi An, you should have opportunity to visit the village which make the GONG & CHIENG by copper which is often used as the music of the minority people in the central highlands. Day 09. HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH (B/L/D) - Breakfast. Transfer to Danang Airport and flight by morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival transfer to downtown Ho Chi Minh City for walking tour along the famous Dong Khoi street (formerly Rue Catinat), passing by the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral & central Post Office. Optional coffee at HIGHLAND CAFÉ at this area (coffee paid by own account on spot). After enjoying coffee, we drive by car to have lunch at local restaurant. After lunch transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon, visit Cholon (China town) and Ben Thanh Market. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10. HO CHI MINH – CU CHI – HO CHI MINH (B/L/D) - Breakfast. In the morning drive to Cu Chi district (75 km), en route you will have the opportunity to visit local homes producing rice paper and rice wine. Visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and have lunch in Ho Chi Minh City. PM: The sightseeing tour acquaints us with some major sights of the city. We pass the now demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, after visit the War Remnant Museum. Dinner on cruise on Sai Gon river. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11. HO CHI MINH – VINH LONG – CAN THO (B/L/D) - Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Vinh Long, visit to the flood plains of the Mekong Delta, “the mystic serpent with nine tails.” To Vietnamese, the river is Cuu Long, “The River of Nine Dragons,” referring to the number of mouths as the river empties into the sea. As well as producing over half of the nation’s rice, the Delta area is abundant with fruit orchards and traditional fish farms. Culturally, the area is a diverse mix of ethnic Khymer and Chinese. (To some degree, the seasons - the best being from January to March, and the worst, around November, when the rivers flood, will determine our itinerary.) You will head to Vinh Long for boat trip down the Mekong River to explore Cai Be Floating Market. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Can Tho. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.
Day 12. CAN THO – CHAU DOC (B/L/D) - Breakfast at the hotel, take boat to enjoy Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating market, then drop in My Khanh tourist garden to enjoy many kinds tropical fruits. Back to Can Tho city for lunch. PM: Drive to Chau Doc. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Chau Doc.
Day 13. CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B/-/D) - (We separate price for Vietnam &Cambodia for easy compare). Breakfast at hotel. Take hydrofoil boat to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh, met and transfer to direct to ecological sight, Visit to the Victory Monument, and theNational Museum, This is one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems. The Museum is instantly recognizable with its warm red terracotta and its gracefully cured roof topped by dozens of guardian nagas. It was designed in Khmer style in 1917 by famed French architect Georges Groslier & Ecole Des Arts Cambodgiens and Wat Unalom. Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Then continue your visit at Wat Phnom Temple, a small hill crowned by an active Wat (Pagoda) marks the legendary founding place of the Phnom Penh. Dinner & Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 14. PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B/L/D) - Breakfast at hotel. Visit the notorious Killing Fields
Day 15. SIEM REAP (B/L/D) - Breakfast at hotel. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century) : the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at restaurant. PM Visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palacein Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Day 16. SIEM REAP (B/L/D) - Breakfast hotel. AM Visit to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic. Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Lunch at restaurant. Day 17. SIEM REAP (B/-/-) - Breakfast at the hotel. We board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals. Free leisure for your own time for rolling at local market for shopping until transfer to Siem Reap International airport departure flight.
