Grenada Adventure Travel Guide: Ideas and Inspiration

PureTravel Says: "Grenada is an island nation, which also includes the southern Grenadines in the southeastern Caribbean Sea. Grenada obtained independence from the British in 1974 and is now a popular visitor destination in Grenada and the smaller islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Grenada now has a population of 110,000 and the capital is St. George's. The national bird of Grenada is the Grenada Dove, which is now critically endangered. Columbus first sighted the island in 1498 and today eco-tourism and water sports are popular. Visit St. George’s, the capital, Lance Aux Epines, Grand Anse, and Point Salines. Discover the fascinating charm, special traditions and festival spirit of the Grenadian people."
